Where We Found Our Home: Ciara & Lincoln. Ciara is on the run from a dangerous past when she stumbles upon a new town and a newfound family. Lincoln is a firefighter, a protector, and her safe space. The chemistry between Ciara and Lincoln is electrifying. I love a damsel in distress plot, and this one did not disappoint. The romance and suspense elements of this novel bounce off each other perfectly. The showdown between the protagonist and the antagonist is very thrilling!
Tropes: Reluctant Hero, Men in Uniform, Countdown to Destruction

Where We Found Our Heart: Nina and Isaiah. A night of passion results in a permanent situation between two people whose lives are far from ready. The light-spiritedness of this love story is very refreshing for me. The humor and nostalgic references sprinkled throughout give the story a comfortable feeling. However, this story has more serious underlying elements, such as the protagonist’s battle with the ending and beginning of life. The importance of family is another important theme discussed throughout the story.
Tropes: Orphan, Best Friend’s Sibling, Surprise Pregnancy

Where We Found Our Passion: Olivia and Kai. Where We Found Our Passion is a second-chance love story about Olivia and Kai, who are childhood best friends. They reunite as adults and are navigating the delicate balance between their cherished memories and the strangers that they’ve become. In this story, the author provides us with a dual view of both Olivia and Kai’s journey that leads them back to one another. I absolutely love Olivia and Kai’s love in this story because it captures the enduring power of first love.
Tropes: Friends to Lovers, Second Chance Romance, Innocent Cohabitation
Lost and Found series by Natasha Bishop
The Series: I loved reading about these characters and the universe that the author creates for them. The author’s storytelling is easy to follow, and I appreciate the use of flashbacks and social media posts to chronologize the stories. The characters’ group chats are where all the tea is spilled, and the conversations between them illustrate each of their personalities. In this 3-book Lost and Found series, the author sheds light on multiple social issues, blends a family, and delivers an on-edge romance thriller. WELL DONE!!! The Lost & Found series by Natasha Bishop is a 10/10 read!!
